Manager Referred Evening Commercial Cleaners

Type: Part-Time, City: Austin, Texas

PJS is immediately hiring part time evening cleaners for several of our buildings all over Austin. This is perfect job for someone looking to supplement their income while keeping their weekends free for friends and family and avoiding big crowds! Full Time Day Porter

Type: Full-Time, City: Austin, Texas

PJS is hiring three full-time Day Porters for one of our buildings located close to the intersection of highway 360 and Bee Caves Road.

The Day Porters will be responsible for making sure the building looks clean, presentable, and inviting at all times - especially between routine cleaning maintenance activities. He/she will also ensure the building is safe for all occupants if any unexpected incidents arise, like slippery floors or broken glass. Payrate is $17.50 per hour. Schedule could be either 7am-4pm or 9am-6pm. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

Keep lobbies clean
Keep common areas clean
Keep restrooms clean
Restock supplies in restrooms as necessary
Service kitchen, cafeteria, and/or break rooms (particularly before and after busy times)
Perform continuous touch-point cleaning to reduce the spread of illness by eliminating bacteria and germs
Respond to spills and other cleaning emergencies
Remove or warn of safety hazards, such as objects in the way of pedestrians or wet floors
Remove litter and debris from entrances and parking lots
Other duties as assigned

Abilities and Requirements:
• Must be willing to work assigned hours (Monday-Friday)
• Ability to write, read and speak basic English .
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire duration of the shift
• Ability to frequently bend, kneel, reach, and twist throughout the duration of the shift
• Ability to lift between 25lbs-50lbs frequently throughout the duration of the shift
• Ability to work both independently and in team settings



Evening Janitor Part Time

Type: Part-Time, City: Austin, Texas

Janitorial Supervisor **Bilingual a plus** Part Time

Type: Part-Time, City: Austin, Texas

Look no further. We are looking for a part time evening janitorial supervisor for several of our buildings located around Mopac and Highway 360 (78746). Work Schedule is Monday to Friday, 5:30PM- 10:30PM.

Payrate starting at $18 per hour. 

Job Summary:
Primary job responsibility is to lead and supervisor a single account under the direction and guidance of the Operations Manager. This individual will actively manage night janitorial operations of their assigned account while supporting employees in a positive manner and ensuring that all services are being provided with the highest quality.

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Enforce work standards under the direction of the Operations Manager.
• Monitor overall inventory/equipment usage and safety maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
• Allocate use of available labor resources in an effective manner.
• Assist the Operations staff in supervision, coverage, and training nighttime cleaners as needed.
• Prepare comprehensive nightly reports to be submitted to Operations Manager.
• Perform janitorial and maintenance duties when needed.
• Special project work as requested and other duties as assigned.

• Must be flexible and can organize priorities based on workplace needs
• Must have the ability to understand and apply workplace safety procedures 
• Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse population. This includes skills in coaching, training, and crew motivation

Part Time Evening Floor Tech (Downtown)

Type: Part-Time, City: Austin, Texas

Looking to a part time evening Floor Tech to work approximately 20 hours per week in Downtown Austin. Shift is Monday-Friday, 6pm-10pm. Parking is provided. 

Pay rate is: From $15 per hour

Responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing and bonneting of areas that include offices, corridors, lobbies, entrances, and stairwells. Strip and wax floors, mop and clean floors, understand chemicals usage, vacuum offices and common areas. Operate chemical dispensing units. Other required duties may be assigned by the supervisor such as light maintenance and janitorial duties.

• Provide slick floor services, such as stripping, waxing, spray buffing, sweeping, and mopping, to include proper edging on all floor surfaces;
• Used both high speed and low speed buffers and burnishing equipment on slick floors, applied proper chemical for stripping, waxing, and buffing of slick floors, using chemical safety;
• Used slow speed carpet bonneting machine on all carpeted floor, in a safe and efficient manner, cleans all carpet, used carpet extractor on all carpets as scheduled;

• Cleaned baseboards throughout the facility, responded to floor care emergency calls; such as, spills, body fluids, and markings, using proper equipment to clean area, always using universal precautions;
• Disinfected floor care equipment after each use, completed simple preventative maintenance tasks on floor care equipment, vacuumed all floors as scheduled;
• Move office furniture and supplies in order to clean;
• Complete work assignments on a timely manner;
• Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure;
• Follow all proper safety procedures.

• Minimum one year of experience as a floor technician is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate;
• Wear company uniform while on duty.
• Ability to understand and follow directions from the Manager.

• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Billing & Client Support Specialist

Type: Full-Time, City: Austin, Texas

Our administrative support operations (Accounting / Finance / Payroll / Human Resources) are headquartered in Austin. The organic growth in our business and evolving requirements of our clients has resulted in the need for an experienced Billing & Client Support Specialist within our Accounting team. 

Reporting to the Billing & Collections Manager (with indirect oversight provided by the Accounting Manager and CFO), the Billing & Client Support Specialist is responsible for submitting client invoices with supporting documents using various delivery methods. Delivery methods would include client- and third-party portals (i.e., Service Channel, Verisae, Corrigo), email or, on occasion, mailing. The Billing & Client Support Specialist is expected to resolve submission issues, provide 
requested support documentation, and coordinate with PJS operations management to answer client inquiries and/or disputes. Attention to detail, self-motivated and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain an up-to-date company billing system
• Serve as a liaison between area managers, clients, third-party payment platforms and accounting team in the creation, completion, closing, invoicing, and accounting for work orders
• Monitor invoice aging reports for non-payments, delayed payments, and/or other irregularities
• Research and resolve billing and/or payment discrepancies on an as-needed basis
• Investigate and resolve client questions and disputes on an as-needed basis
• Provide accurately and timely updates to clients and PJS personnel as needed 

Education and Experience
• Minimum 2-year certificate program in Accounting Principles or equivalent – candidates with BBA will be given preferential consideration
• 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced / deadline-sensitive environment with varying and evolving client billing protocols
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
• Working knowledge of sales tax law and experience interacting with relevant taxing authorities
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Advance computer skills (Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel)
• Strong organizational skills and willingness to assume accountability
